Time For Reflection

As we end the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year, it is a great time for reflection and much needed rest.  The world of education is ever changing with many more challenges facing our youth and our classrooms.  With that being said, these challenges open the door to more opportunities for celebration and success.

During this Holiday Break, it is my hope that all of you can find time for rest, time to be with your family and friends and time reflect on all of the successes you have had this first semester.  I am so thankful for each and every one of you.  Your hard work and kindness go a long way with our students and community.  I am grateful to work with such upstanding individuals.  You are what makes Perry Central such a special place to work and raise a family!

I hope all of you have a very Happy Holiday and Merry Christmas!  Enjoy your students these last few days!


School Notes: 

* You are invited to tour our student's Commodore Manufacturing facility during lunch/WIN on Tuesday!  It is amazing to see this group of students engaged and excited about what they are doing!  Thanks to Josh Craney and Julie Berkhouse for leading this charge.  There will be many members of the community present for this occasion and we would love to see your support!

* JEANS, JEANS, JEANS - You can wear jeans this week for a donation to the PBIS Committee!!  $5 donations can be made in the high school office.

* Lunch on us!  We will celebrate this magical season with a Christmas meal on Tuesday.  Lunch will be served in the high school office.  Come and enjoy!

*Grades will be due on January 5th - report cards will come out on January 12th.

*Virtual Day - As long as the weather holds, the plan is to have a professional development day on Monday, January 8th.  More information will be forthcoming.

* Thursday and Friday next week Final Schedule:

o   Thursday:  2^nd period (7:55 – 9:35), 4^th period (9:39-11:20), 5^th Period (same as always), 6^th period (1:20 – 3:00)
